Does one bank connection mean only one account?

No. A connection is a single bank login, and you choose which of its accounts to bring in: one, several, or all of them, across checking, savings and credit cards. Connect Chase once and pull in every account you want, not just a single card.

How good is the categorization, really?

Good enough that most weeks you are confirming rather than sorting, and honest enough to tell you when it is guessing. Every category carries a confidence level and a reason, so you can see exactly what we matched on. Anything below high confidence goes to a review queue instead of quietly into your books.

What happens when it gets something wrong?

You change it, and that change sticks: an automatic category never overwrites one you set. If the same merchant keeps landing wrong, turn your correction into a rule and it applies to every matching transaction from then on, and to the ones already in your ledger if you want.

Which features come with which plan?

All of them, on every plan. Rules, statements, analytics, the review queue and exports are never held back for a bigger plan. Plans differ by how many connected banks and users they include, and Pro adds priority support.

Can I change plans later?

Yes. Upgrade or downgrade any time from the billing portal, which opens from "Manage billing" in the sidebar. Your limits move with the plan straight away.

Is my financial data secure?

Accepted Answer

Your bank credentials go to Plaid, never to us, and our access is read-only, so nothing here can move money. Your data is encrypted on the way to us and while we hold it, and the bank access token is encrypted again under a key of its own.

We connect through Plaid, which covers thousands of banks and credit unions across the US, including every major institution. You can check for yours during signup, before you pay anything.

What if I want to leave?

Accepted Answer

Cancel from the billing portal whenever you like, and export everything first: transactions, categories, rules and statements, all formats in one download. We would rather you leave with your books than be kept by the cost of rebuilding them.
